Two lines, one rhythm.
The two copper bands cross the tabletop's width and relate to the position of the legs. A continuous plane of dark timber lies between them.

THE IDEA
Designed by Roberto G. Sada, this table begins with a long plane of dark zebrawood crossed by two copper lines, positioned approximately above the supports. Strong grain runs along the tabletop; metal bands cross it and establish its rhythm. Open V-shaped supports keep the surface in focus and allow the piece to be read from different angles.

MATERIAL / THE DESIGN
Pronounced longitudinal grain with deep contrasts.
Two transverse bands, approximately above the supports.
Open geometry with a dark finish.
The two copper bands cross the tabletop's width and relate to the position of the legs. A continuous plane of dark timber lies between them.
Contrasting dark zebrawood grain runs along the surface. A thin, straight edge reinforces this continuous horizontal reading.
Two V-shaped structures support the table at its ends. The space between their diagonals keeps the base visually light.
