THE IDEA
Giving a generously equipped kitchen a social center, with appliances organized around the perimeter.
A dark island and four seats bring the kitchen's social life together. Tall cabinetry makes use of the walls, interrupted by illuminated niches. Four suspended lights trace a free line above the counter, facing a small view of greenery.

MATERIAL / THE DESIGN
Continuous floor-to-ceiling modules.
Stone-like island and backsplash.
Woven-back seats in natural tones.
The island includes counter seating toward the entrance. The seats form a continuous front and let the cook remain part of the conversation.
The joinery groups cabinets, drawers and appliances along the sides. Tall modules reduce visual fragmentation across the walls.
Niches, counters and pendants are lit independently in the visualization. Lighting reveals the depth of the dark fronts.
