THE IDEA
A workplace dining room becomes a multipurpose gathering space with quiet work areas. Timber cladding turns from wall to ceiling, giving the interior a warmer scale; glass partitions allow the different settings to operate independently.

The brief expands the staff dining room into a multipurpose space and quiet work area. Glass partitions and independent entrances allow the areas to operate separately while retaining visual connections.
Within a space approximately six meters high, timber cladding turns from wall to ceiling. This gesture unifies the interior, accompanied by suspended lighting, built-in furniture and a pantry designed for everyday use.
Visualizations are shown alongside photographs of the completed work, revealing the development of cladding, lighting and joinery. Participation included design, documentation and site follow-up coordinated with engineering and building services at Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos.
