THE IDEA
Two volumes frame an open terrace on the eleventh floor. Glass preserves city views, while cement panels connect the intervention to the existing building. Interior and exterior alternate to create new ways of gathering.

The intervention occupies an eleventh-floor terrace. Two enclosed volumes define a shared outdoor space, alternating sheltered and open areas for gathering. The project begins with an existing terrace and pergola.
Glass surfaces preserve the relationship with the views; cement panels seek continuity with the building. Facade, massing and joinery studies carry that intention from the overall composition to the service furniture.
The archive brings together existing conditions, the proposal, drawings, interior studies and photographs of the completed spaces. Work at Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos included design, drawings, visualization, site follow-up and supplier coordination.
