THE IDEA

Life happens between buildings.

Housing and work rise above an open public ground plane. Bridges and planted terraces connect the volumes, while markets, gardens and everyday encounters activate the spaces between buildings.

Project status: Academic project from 2020. The complex is presented through drawings, models and visualizations.
Role: Shared concept, 3D modeling, drawings, diagrams and visualization.

A ground plane for public life.

This academic project combines housing and work above an open ground floor. Markets, recreational areas and meeting spaces occupy the gaps between buildings, making shared activity part of the architectural organization.

Connecting the buildings.

Bridges and planted terraces link four elevated volumes. The section distinguishes residential, office and semi-private layers, while compact cores provide circulation between levels.

From precedents to proposal.

The process includes studies of Le Corbusier's La Tourette and Frank Lloyd Wright's Johnson Wax, alongside an urban analysis of Sector 45. Plans, sections, diagrams and model photographs trace the development of the 2020 proposal.
