THE IDEA

An everyday ritual, in good company.

A pale stone top connects two different supports: a folded weathering-steel sheet and a smoked-oak volume. A thin-framed oval mirror sits slightly off-center. Halo brings together sitting, storage and preparation in a serene composition with deliberate asymmetry.

Project status
A 2026 design concept. Proposed materials and dimensions; technical development and prototyping are pending.
Role
An exploration of form, materiality, proportion and conceptual representation.
Credits
Concept developed for Sada Hess. AI-generated visualizations and sketches; proportion study prepared for this proposal.

MATERIAL / PROPOSED PALETTE

See it.
Feel it.

130 × 50 × 145 cm

Width × depth × height · proposed dimensions

Total height with mirror: 145 cm · worktop: 75 cm

  • Ivory limestone

A softly contoured top with an integrated drawer.

  • Weathering steel and bronze

Folded support and a fine mirror edge.

  • Smoked oak

    A rounded side storage volume.

01

An off-center mirror.

The oval shifts toward the timber side. Its slim profile allows the light and wall to remain part of the composition.

02

Two ways of supporting.

A weathering-steel sheet folds; a timber volume holds the drawers. The space between them remains clear for legs.

03

A place for personal things.

A shallow drawer below the top and two curved side fronts organize everyday objects. The mechanism and internal divisions will be developed through prototyping.

THE SKETCHBOOK / DRAWINGS AND PROCESS

What lies
behind the drawing.

Elevations and plan exploring the object's scale. Each dimension expresses a design intention.
